As a member of New Jersey’s life sciences vendor community, you also play a key role in sustaining and expanding an industry that is essential to the growth of New Jersey ’s economy.

With its unparalleled cluster of biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies, New Jersey is known as the “medicine chest of the world.” During the past century or more, a sophisticated and comprehensive network of specialized life sciences industry vendors has developed to support this critical sector of our state’s economy. This network is a major key to the state’s ability to draw new biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies to our state and for those who are already here to comfortably expand.

New Jersey’s biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies generate more than $24 billion in annual economic activity in New Jersey, including:

• awarding more than $4 billion per year in contracts to local New Jersey businesses for goods and services; and

• creating more than 75,000 spin-off jobs elsewhere in the state’s economy that are directly dependent on the life sciences industry 
  

To strengthen the relationship between New Jersey’s biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies and New Jersey’s vendor community, we created the New Jersey Life Sciences Vendors Alliance (NJLSVA) to bring together those who share a common interest in advancing and protecting this critical segment of our state’s economy. More than 600 of your fellow vendors have already joined the NJLSVA and we would like to invite you join the alliance as well. Membership is free and benefits include:

• Invitations to attend meetings on the latest trends in industry procurement.
